sgLonGoSh02               STEWART F1 Lithium ...und dann > No. 6 The New F 1 Lithium !

Stewart Golf is proud to lead the industry through continued product development, innovation and engineering. The F1 Lithium is the result of a design project where our design team were asked simply to make the Award Winning X3R even better. The design team were given ‘carte blanche’ to achieve this task, and the results are simply stunning.

The F1 Lithium is not simply an updated version of the X3R. With the exception of a handful of minor mouldings, every component of the F1 Lithium is new. Full technical details will be posted online over the coming weeks.

Main Highlights of the F1

arrowriNEW Lithium Ion Battery Pack
arrowriNEW Three Part Folding Chassis
arrowriNEW 36V Electronics System
arrowriNEW F1 integrated locking Golf Bag
arrowriNEW Magnesium Alloy Wheels
arrowriNEW LCD Screen
arrowriNEW 7 Colours available

When folded, the F1 Lithium occupies just one third of the floor space of the X3R and 40% less overall volume. In trademark Stewart Golf style; elegance and practicality have been combined with the minimum of fuss.

Despite the obvious associations one may draw to motorsport, the F1 name came about during the products development. At any one time, Stewart Golf has a number of concepts and ideas on the drawing board. Due to its folding chassis, this concept was known as 'the folding one' which was quickly abbreviated to 'F1' which is where it stuck.

The F1 Lithium is not yet available for purchase, but you can add your name to the growing waiting list.
First deliveries of the F1 Lithium will take place for Great Britain in Summer 2008 and Europe Mainland Spring 2009.

Beste Golfprodukte 2007

Seit 14 December 2007 stehen die Todays Golfer AWARD WINNER fest! Die Leser der grĂ¶ĂŸten englischen Golfzeitschrift haben entschieden: Der STEWART X3R ist ihr bester elektrischer Golf Trolley!

    Kategorie: BEST ELECTRIC TROLLEY:

    1. STEWART GOLF X3R
    2. Powakaddy Freeway
    3. Motocaddy S3

The results of the annual Today's Golfer Awards have been annouced and the
Stewart Golf X3R is officially the Best Electric Golf Trolley on the market.
This award is voted for by the readers of Today's Golfer, as opposed to the editorial staff of the magazine.

Electric trolleys have progressed in leaps and bounds over the last 5 years, and the futuristic design of the X3R has taken them to a whole new dimension.
No stone has been left unturned in Stewart Golf's search for perfection - you can even get them to spray an X3 in the colours of your favourite football team. The trolley is packed full of features, including a neat fold-down system that allows you to pack it away quickly with its battery still fitted. The electronics are derived from a NASA system, and the chassis is more typical of a Formula One car than something designed to transport your golf clubs.

Unlike other trolleys, the X3 feels rock-solid and has an anti-tip system to stop it falling backwards. It is an expensive investment, but judging by your responses to this beast of a trolley, it is worth it.

New Price 2008
As you may be aware, the UK retail price of the X3R has remained stable since it succeeded the X1R in January 2006. Over the last two years, Stewart Golf have continually invested in the product and introduced a number of improvements. The most significant of these is the NASA-derived 'V2' electronics system which provides speed sensitive steering and almost total protection from outside interference. This investment, coupled with other increased costs from a number of suppliers has meant that, in order to continue the rapid pace of innovation and development of existing and new products, the retail price of the X3 Remote needs to increase slightly.

Dear Mark,

I have been meaning to write you a quick thank-you for my trolley, in a word it’s  "fantastic".

I have taken at least 3-5 shots off my handicap and seem to be playing much more consistently since I have been using it. Whether this is just down to the trolley is up for debate, but as I have been playing for about 4-5 yrs now, I got struck trying to break 90 (av 93). Since I had the trolley I am consistently hitting below 90 (av 88). I put this down to concentration more that anything, as I am only 30 and don't struggle carrying the bag around the course so didn’t think the trolley would help my game just that it was a nice looking toy
. or so I thought.
Not having to carry, push or even steer a power trolley is just so easy and effortless, and allows you to concentrate on your next shot and in my opinion gives you more time to just enjoy the game.
I must say that the trolley gets admiring looks and positive comments every time I play. Lots of other golfers have come over to see the trolley on the course and around the clubhouse.

Most comments surrounding how great (and expensive) the trolley looks. A couple of guys have said they have been thinking about one for last few years. I told them it’s the best thing I have ever bought and that the service was fantastic.
As much as I would thoroughly recommend that this is the 'Must Have Item' for any golfer, I hope that the Stewart Trolley will never become too common .... it's very rare that you see one out on the course and that exclusivity is the prompt for most people's interest - Similar to when you see a Lambo in a car park .... you just can't help yourself !!!

The whole process from my initial enquiry (and my countless questions), right through to the knock on the door from the delivery driver was completely painless and enjoyable. I was like a kid on Christmas Day .... very excited as I unpacked the trolley, loaded in the battery and test drove it down the road .... the feeling I still get every time I unload from the car and plug in the battery.
The trolley finish is absolutely superb and the little changes I made to the standard spec look fantastic.

If anyone asks me 'should I buy one?'.....
I'd say 'do it without hesitation, it's a luxury that you will not regret it for a second'.

Please pass my comments onto your staff and feel free to use the words for any purpose you believe appropriate.

Thanks Mark and all the best.

Dear Andrew,

As you are aware, I purchased an X3R in 2006 and would like to congratulate you and the team at Stewart Golf.
The trolley has attracted much attention at my club and although was expensive is, in my opinion, worth every penny. I have owned many different models of Powakaddy and feel that the Stewart is infinitely superior in both design and reliability. The trolley is full of useful design features making it both convenient and a joy to use. The attention to detail is second to none.
From the very first time, I spoke to the team at Stewart Golf the staff have been extremely helpful and have always delivered on their promises.
The trolley has been a delight to use and I was delighted to score my first ever hole in one during our 1st Captains Qualifier on our 205 yard 17th hole (Lytham Green Drive) using a 5 iron on only my second round with the X3R. I am convinced that the trolley contributed to this given the energy and lack of fatigue at this point late in the round. The trolley has also allowed me to once again enjoy my golf and this has been reflected in my handicap reducing from 3 to 2 in the first season.
I have absolutely no hesitation to recommend Stewart Golf to anyone who may be considering treating themselves. The product is truly superb and the after sales support is what customer care is all about. I look forward to new and exciting products in the future.

All the very best for the future.

 Kind Regards,

 Simon Denye

loGolfMagicc02Golfmagic-Test 9* von 10 möglichen...

5 December 2006
GolfMagic X3R test verdict: 9* out of 10* possible

Motorised golf trolleys are for old men and birds! That's what all my young mates told me. Well, it would appear that this kind of statement is as outmoded as a Persimmon-headed driver. The Stewart Golf X3R radio controlled trolley appears to be for good players, young players, male players and definitely rich players. It's probably twice the price (some others are even 3 times the price!) that most club golfers would expect to pay even for a top priced trolley. But it seems that Stewart Golf don't mind.
You see, when you aim at the exclusive, luxury market, price is not so much the issue. It's about style and one-upmanship. Well, the X3R will certainly turn heads with its sleek curves and shiny body and the manufacturers even say it could take more than 3 shots off your game as you glide along the fairways rather than lugging your overloaded carry bag.
But is it for real? Would I just feel like an old man and/or a golf totty? Well, I put an X3R through its paces for three months on the slippery slopes of north London's finest golf courses and it passed just about all the necessary tests.
It's easy to fit any size of bag into the elasticated loops and it's easy to manoeuvre despite looking rather large. The remote control is good at least 50 metres away and the battery will easily manage 36 holes with a re-charge. It's quiet and can turn on a sixpence even just using the remote. The problem is trying not to get too cocky while steering it through a bunch of bunkers halfway down the fairway. A nifty carry bag is a super extra purchase if you need to travel with it!
The trolley certainly is fun to use with the remote, but it works just as well as a walk-alongside trolley, although it's a good idea to adjust the four-speed control to suit your various walking paces. For example, I set mine for the plod, the slow amble, the brisk walk and the oh-my-God-we're-a-hole-behind! By the way, these are my own self-penned speed names, but the point is you can set your own pace.

That price has meant the X3R is a bit of a celebrity must-have. The likes of Vernon Kay, DJ Spoony, Matt Dawson, Ray Clemence, Tim Lovejoy, Ian Wright, Paul Robinson, Ronnie Corbett and Rubens Barrichello are all X3R owners.

So, motorized golf trolleys are now officially for old men, birds, celebrity golfers
and me.

48 Löcher mit einer Batterie...

48 holes on a single charge...

Hi Mark,

my X1R and I trundled off the first tee of Frilford Heath's red course at 6.00 am yesterday to start a 54 hole challenge. 13 hours later the X1-R finally ran out of steam after 18 on the red, 18 on the blue (both 7,000 yards) and 12 holes of the green. I then put it in freewheel mode and we coasted the rest. Superb!

Yes it was all with one battery and from a single charge - no topping up during the day. And it ran under its own steam throughout - no help from me, or anything like that. The only potential battery-saving practice I employed was to keep use of the left/right buttons to a minimum. Otherwise I used it as normal. I had full waterproofs, umbrella, three bottles of water and plenty of balls on board so wasn't travelling light either!

Since acquiring her at Christmas my handicap has come down from 18 to 14 and she is very much the talking point at the club.

Kind regards

Robin

Dezember 2005   Today's Golfer    1.

September 2005   Today's Golfer   5***** Star X1R wins again...

Beware of cheap imports !

March 2007 Trolley Buying Tips:
Cheap imported trolleys. Beware. We've had some serious complaints against smaller manufacturers who've spotted the potential of making a few quid by selling a container load of trolleys from China. They bring them over, set up a tinpot website and a telephone hotlineand then mysteriously go out of business after selling enough to make a quick buck - leaving unhappy customers with no comeback when their new buy inevitably breaks down. Our advice is to stick to the major brands (names you recognise or have been recommended by a friend).

February 2007 Letters:
Trolley good... When I was forced to buy an electric trolley three years ago, for medical reasons, I was sorely tempted to buy a cheap model, but I eventually heeded the advice to spend more on a premium product. It might have cost me more, but three years down the line I reckon I've walked 2000 hilly miles with that trolley without it letting me down once. Even if it did, I'd only have to take it back to the shop rather than post it back to China.
Trolley bad... I was reading a recent issue of your magazine and came across a letter from a reader who seemed a bit disgruntled that you hadn't reviewed any of the cheap electric trolleys that you can find on the internet. Well, I was stupid enough to buy one of those 'cheap and cheerful' trolleys, and am now paying the price. Within four weeks it had stopped working thanks to an electrical problem. After six weeks of agonising phonecalls to various people at UK Imports, I'm still waiting for replacement parts and am rapidly losing the will to live. So to any doubting Thomases who think that Today's Golfer isn't testing gear properly, believe what you read. I only wish I'd chosen the model that was recommended in the first place.
